Hair'raising Jamie jumps for Jack

Super salon staff have not only achieved lifelong ambitions but also helped raise funds in aid of a special appeal.
Just weeks after his 21st birthday, Jamie Stroud from Nuneaton marked his special milestone by fulfilling his dream of taking part in a parachute jump. The hair stylist and technician was joined by colleague at his workplace John's Hair Design, beautician Angela Place, to leap from a plane thousands of feet above the air in Northampton.
Not only have the pair now achieved their dreams, but they have raised more than £1300 in the process to help little Jack Oldacres, who suffers from the rare and painful skin condition Netherton Syndrome.
"originally we were just going to do the jump and then people said why not raise money for charity at the same time" said Jamie.
Some of the parents of Angela's clients go to the school with Jack, so we decided to help him, it is a good local cause that is not so well known by others.
Danny, Julie and Jack who send all the money raised by the fundrasing to London's Great Olmond Street Hosptial for research into the condition, visited the Hair Salon to collect the money that the brave pair had raised.

Royal Mail V Dairy Crest Charity Football & Funday 2013.
The Annual Royal Mail V Dairy Crest game will be taking place this year on 25th August 2013 2:00pm @ The Stockingford Pavilion. As last year there will be stall's, food outlets and kids rides etc so the whole family can enjoy the day.
Danny is looking for anyone who is interested in helping out with a stall or burger van, ice cream and bouncy castle so please get in touch through Danny's FACEBOOK page .
We have counting down the days till the funday, with loads and loads going on. There are now going to be 2 fire engines. Also local band 'The Enthused' are playing in the club after the match. Danny has been busy and purchased wristbands, which will be on sale on the day and before, again get in touch with him if you are interested in one or want to help sell them.
